Enterprise Applications & AI Solutions Consultant Enterprise Applications & AI Solutions Consultant Sandy Springs, Georgia Open to Remote Contract $70/hr - $85/hr Enterprise Applications & AI Solutions Consultant Remote or Hybrid | Ongoing Long-Term Contract Opportunity Our client is seeking an Enterprise Applications & AI Solutions Consultant to support enterprise modernization initiatives across a large and complex technology environment. This role will focus on modern application architecture, Microsoft ecosystem technologies, AI-enabled solutions, automation, governance, and digital transformation efforts supporting both technical and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of enterprise architecture, hands-on development, cloud engineering, Microsoft platform expertise, and emerging AI technology exposure. This individual will work closely with leadership, infrastructure teams, developers, and business stakeholders to evaluate legacy applications, recommend modernization strategies, and support scalable enterprise solutions aligned with organizational standards and security best practices. What You Will Be Doing

• Supporting enterprise digital modernization initiatives, including assessment of legacy applications and recommendation of future-state architecture and platform solutions
• Designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications utilizing Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services
• Collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Supporting enterprise application governance, lifecycle management, standards, and compliance initiatives
• Assisting with AI-enabled solution evaluation and implementation, including exposure to LLMs, agents, prompt engineering, and Microsoft/OpenAI technologies
• Developing and supporting integrations utilizing REST APIs and cloud-native services
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines, source control, automation, and DevOps best practices
• Assisting with Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online administration, configuration, and customization efforts
• Creating and maintaining secure authentication and authorization models utilizing Entra ID and RBAC best practices
• Supporting operational automation and scripting initiatives utilizing PowerShell and related technologies
• Working closely with project teams to proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and impediments impacting delivery timelines Required Skills & Experience
• General awareness of AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, and prompt engineering concepts
• Familiarity with Azure AI Services, OpenAI, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, or related AI platforms
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and C# development
• Strong understanding of authentication, security best practices, and enterprise software architecture patterns
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL experience, including data modeling and performance tuning
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or SPFx
• Hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, administration, and governance concepts
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online environments
• Strong Azure experience including App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Storage, Entra ID, and Microsoft Graph
• Experience creating and configuring Entra ID security principals and access controls
• Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Postman
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control best practices
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Understanding of enterprise security best practices including RBAC, least privilege, and PII handling
• Familiarity with ITIL-aligned change management practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Preferred Skills
• Experience with enterprise modernization or transformation initiatives
• Exposure to tools such as ShareGate, Nintex, and Qualtrics
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud enterprise environments
