AgreeYa is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer - Oracle Retail to support enterprise retail technology initiatives for a leading retail organization. This role will focus on designing, developing, integrating, and deploying enterprise-scale retail solutions within the Oracle Retail technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Retail modules, modern retail architecture, microservices, enterprise integrations, and large-scale retail platform implementations. The candidate should also have strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL development, REST/SOAP integrations, and Oracle Retail suite applications including RMS, RIB, ReSA, ReHA, and RICS. This role requires strong technical leadership capabilities, experience supporting enterprise retail operations, and the ability to contribute to modernization initiatives involving next-generation Oracle RMS platforms and cloud-native integration solutions. Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale retail solutions using Oracle Retail technologies and next-generation RMS platforms Implement and support Oracle Retail modules including: RMS (Retail Merchandising System) RIB (Retail Integration Bus) ReSA (Retail Sales Audit) ReHA (Retail Home Office Audit) RICS (Retail Integration Cloud Service) Develop and maintain scalable PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database solutions supporting retail operations Design and implement microservices-based architectures and APIs to support modern retail integrations and business workflows Build and maintain REST and SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Retail platforms and enterprise systems Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable retail technology solutions Support enterprise application modernization and migration initiatives within Oracle Retail environments Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance Oracle Retail applications and integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability Participate in architectural discussions, technical solution design, code reviews, and best practice initiatives Support deployment activities, production releases, and post-production issue resolution Contribute to integration and event-streaming initiatives using modern tools and platforms such as Kafka or MuleSoft Create technical documentation, integration specifications, and support materials for enterprise retail solutions Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience working within the Oracle Retail technology ecosystem Strong experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale retail applications and solutions Hands-on expertise with Oracle Retail modules including: RMS RIB ReSA ReHA RICS Strong technical expertise in: PL/SQL Oracle Database development REST APIs SOAP web services Microservices architecture Experience integrating Oracle Retail applications with enterprise systems and third-party platforms Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory, sales audit, and enterprise retail operations Experience troubleshooting and optimizing enterprise Oracle Retail environments Ability to work collaboratively with architecture, infrastructure, business, and development teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with Oracle APEX development Hands-on experience with integration and streaming technologies such as: MuleSoft Apache Kafka Event-driven integration platforms Experience with modern cloud-native architectures and enterprise modernization initiatives Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerized application deployments Experience supporting large-scale retail or eCommerce environments Education Required:
