Job Description
A regional property and casualty insurance group is hiring a Product Analyst to support analysis of personal lines insurance products. This role leverages data and business intelligence to generate insights that support product performance, profitability, and growth in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment. This is a hybrid position with three in-office days per week. Key Responsibilities Query and analyze large datasets using SQL to support product and performance insights Build and maintain regular business‑intelligence reports and perform ad‑hoc analyses Optimize data retrieval and reporting processes using dashboards, Excel, and automation tools Analyze personal lines products, coverage, and competitive positioning Translate complex analyses into clear summaries and actionable recommendations Support product changes related to rates, coverage, and product development Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, marketing, accounting, and data analytics teams Maintain high standards of data accuracy, quality, and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, actuarial science, or a related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role Proficiency in SQL and relational databases Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or Tableau Familiarity with Python or automation tools is a plus Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills Interest in insurance products and data‑driven problem solving
Compensation Salary Range:
$80,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
