compliance and background investigation required Position Summary SMX is seeking a Technical Lead / Integrator to provide technical leadership, systems integration, release management, configuration management, project coordination, and production support for a Java-based enterprise application supporting IRS operations. Key Responsibilities Lead technical integration and coordination across project teams. Support application maintenance, enhancements, modernization, and sustainment activities. Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Coordinate testing, release planning, deployments, and production support. Support configuration management, change control, and release governance. Prepare executive status reports, technical briefings, meeting agendas, and minutes. Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition activities. Utilize JIRA and Confluence for tracking, documentation, and collaboration. Required Qualifications 10-12 years of experience in technical leadership, systems integration, configuration management, or enterprise application support. Experience supporting production applications in federal, regulated, or mission-critical environments. Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, release management, and operational support. Experience with project planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination. Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Java-based application environments. Strong communication, documentation, and executive reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications IRS, Treasury, or federal government experience. Experience with OneSDLC or similar government delivery frameworks. Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, SQL Server, Splunk, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and enterprise container platforms. Experience supporting FISMA compliance, vulnerability remediation, audits, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
