Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-visibility Oracle Fusion implementation program. These roles support end-to-end testing of the Oracle Fusion Commission Payables module across approximately 80 business units, spanning three testing phases: Functional Testing, Parallel Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The BAs will work closely with the program lead and business unit teams — some producing system-generated outputs, others creating Excel-based supplier and invoice files for submission into Oracle Fusion. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role requiring strong Oracle Fusion knowledge, structured testing discipline, and the ability to coordinate across a large and varied stakeholder base.
Key responsibilities Testing execution:
Design, document, and execute test scripts for Functional Testing, Parallel Testing, and UAT phases across all assigned business units. Validate system-generated outputs and Excel-based supplier and invoice file inputs against expected Oracle Fusion Commission Payables results. Identify, document, and triage defects using the program's designated tracking tool; drive resolution in coordination with technical and functional teams. Support data reconciliation between legacy or source system outputs and Oracle Fusion during the parallel testing phase.
Business unit coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business units throughout the testing lifecycle. Facilitate business unit testing sessions, including walkthroughs and hands-on support for teams creating Excel input files. Deliver clear, timely communication to business unit SMEs on schedules, requirements, open issues, and outcomes. Identify and escalate risks or blockers related to business unit readiness, data quality, or resource availability.
Program support:
Maintain accurate testing status across the assigned business unit portfolio; contribute to program-level reporting and stakeholder updates. Collaborate with the program lead to refine test plans, templates, and tooling as the program evolves. Support onboarding of business unit teams to Oracle Fusion testing processes, including guidance on Excel file preparation and submission standards.
Required qualifications:
5+ years of Business Analyst experience on ERP implementation or upgrade programs. Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, specifically the Incentive Compensation or Commission Payables module. Demonstrated experience executing functional, parallel, and/or UAT testing in an Oracle Fusion environment. Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payables and the supplier/invoice data model. Proven ability to author and execute functional test scripts independently—not solely follow pre-defined cases. Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to validate and troubleshoot Excel-based data input files. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred qualifications:
Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or distribution environments with commission or incentive compensation structures. Experience supporting testing programs spanning 20+ business units or legal entities. Familiarity with Oracle data templates or flat-file ingestion processes for Oracle Fusion. Experience with data validation and reconciliation between legacy outputs and Oracle Fusion during parallel testing. Oracle Fusion certification or formal Oracle training is a plus. Background in Operations, Finance, or Shared Services program contexts.
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
