Purpose of Position :
The AI and Institutional Analytics Specialist supports the college's analytics and institutional effectiveness efforts by developing dashboards, improving access to data, supporting reporting processes, and advancing the use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The position serves as a technical resource for data analysis, workflow innovation, and responsible AI adoption to improve operational efficiency and student success outcomes. Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. KSA's/Required Qualifications Experience with data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence tools. Experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or equivalent. Data analytics, visualization, and reporting (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, etc.) Understanding of AI concepts, applications, and ethical considerations. Knowledge of institutional research, data governance, and data quality practices. Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights. Strong critical thinking and data interpretation skills. Ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Strong written, verbal, and data storytelling skills. Ability to collaborate across departments and with leadership. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Experience with workflow improvement, automation, and process optimization. Ability to research and adopt emerging technologies. Commitment to continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness. Adaptability in a changing technology landscape.
