Job Description

Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This position will help implement continuous improvement efforts required to perform all operations and supply chain efforts in an efficient and accurate manner. You will monitor and analyze all data and related KPIs, provide feedback and direction to shop floor supervisors and hourly associates pertaining to processes, and provide training for all data related systems as required. You will maintain proper queue management and product flow, conducting audits to verify data integrity throughout the plant and use multiple programming tools to assess this data (Excel, SAP, PowerBI, etc.) Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world.   • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Perform inventory and supply chain data analysis to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Support daily operational activities by providing data insights that enhance accuracy and timeliness in replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory management.
  • Document new processes and incorporate systematic training to ensure sustainable improvements.
  • Analyze supply chain and operational data to identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and self-assess progress toward targets, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in materials-related projects as assigned, applying data analytics to optimize inventory, product flow, and resource utilization.
