Overview:
We're seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in an academic environment. This role is for a hands-on developer who thrives on building scalable, efficient Salesforce solutions. You'll be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying custom applications and integrations that support critical business functions. .
Key Responsibilities:
Configure Salesforce using Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, and formula fields to meet business requirements. Implement and manage security models including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules. Build and maintain Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) portals to enhance user engagement and collaboration. Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components , and other Salesforce tools. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using
REST/SOAP
APIs and middleware to ensure seamless data flow. Write efficient, bulk-safe Apex triggers and classes , following best practices for performance and scalability. Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all development work. Provide on-call support as part of a rotation, resolving production issues quickly and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions. Familiarity with Agentforce or similar AI-enhanced platforms is a plus, especially for automation and intelligent workflows.
Qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. At least 3 years' experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud , and Lightning Web Components . Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices. Experience with agile development methodologies and tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. . .
