Wonderful Orchards and Wonderful Bees are a part of The Wonderful Company, a privately held $5 billion company dedicated to harvesting health and happiness around the world through its iconic consumer brands which include Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Halos, POM Wonderful, FIJI Water, Teleflora, and JUSTIN Wine Job Description Oracle Database Developer An Oracle Database Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle-based database systems to support enterprise applications and data operations. This position focuses on building robust database solutions, enhancing existing systems, and ensuring efficient data integration across multiple platforms while maintaining high performance, reliability, and security. Summary of Position The Oracle Database Developer is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle database environments, including both new and existing data structures and custom functionality. This role emphasizes PL/SQL development, database architecture, and data integration across Oracle instances as well as between Oracle and non-Oracle systems. The position involves developing database objects, supporting ETL processes, optimizing performance, and ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of databases. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database architecture and data models. Maintain and enhance existing Oracle data structures and custom functionality. Create and manage database objects. Develop PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures. Perform PL/SQL troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning. Design and implement ETL processes between Oracle instances. Develop and support data integration between: Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Oracle and other non-Oracle environments (e.g., web APIs, external systems) Optimize database performance by analyzing queries and identifying improvements. Monitor database security, integrity, and availability. Maintain and support existing databases to ensure reliability and scalability. Troubleshoot database issues and provide support to users and development teams. Support database deployments, migrations, and upgrades. Document database designs, processes, and changes. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in Oracle database development. Strong expertise in PL/SQL development. Experience with database design, data modeling, and tablespace management. Hands-on experience with ETL processes and cross-system data integration. Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries. Experience maintaining and optimizing existing database systems. Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes. Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and performance bottlenecks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle EBS data structures and integrations. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Oracle Database Administration (DBA) experience. Oracle certifications (OCP or equivalent).
Pay Range:
$120,000- $140,000 and may include a discretionary bonus.
