Job Summary As the Salesforce Developer, you will support designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce, develop and code solutions to specification, and identify/support appropriate testing strategies. Job Description We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience across the full application development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation with a strong emphasis on Salesforce and the Lightning Platform, and object-oriented development practices. This is a long-term contract and hybrid opportunity. Candidates must be local and willing to work 3 days a week on-site in Newark, DE . What You'll Do Support designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. Liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements Work with the SF Architect supporting, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications Develop and code solutions to specification Identify and support appropriate testing strategies Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution Participate in a self-directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements
What You'll Need Required:
4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, with emphasis on Salesforce and Lightning Platform, object oriented programming, and Client Server technologies Bachelor's degree or higher Experience in the Salesforce declarative environment Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions Experience documenting application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements Experience identifying and evaluating vendor/partner software and integration strategies Ability to understand the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end¬ states and deliver a solution Ability to contribute within design sessions and communicate design options to across team Working knowledge of Salesforce Web Services APIs including SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API Agile development experience
Preferred:

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
