BI Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and data visualizations that support business decision-making. This role involves working with data platforms, building dashboards, optimizing data structures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient reporting systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions Develop and optimize SQL queries, database structures, and data models Integrate multiple data sources into a unified reporting framework Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and workflow automation processes Participate in system design, development, testing, and deployment activities Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards Contribute to reporting best practices and standards Participate in Agile development processes and project planning Mentor junior team members and support team collaboration Provide production support and continuous improvement of reporting systems Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and reporting development Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboards, datasets, and administration Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with database optimization Experience with Microsoft BI stack tools such as SSRS, Power Query, MDX, and DAX Experience working with data warehouses and data modeling concepts Experience with AWS and Redshift databases Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience working in Agile environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python, Java, or .NET development Knowledge of cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with ERP integrations and microservices architecture Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory standards
