Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with deep expertise in the Salesforce Platform and Sales Cloud, along with strong knowledge of platform security, governance, and secure application development. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy robust Salesforce solutions that streamline sales processes, strengthen data protection, and enhance user productivity. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross functional technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high quality CRM functionality. A key focus of this position is ensuring all development adheres to Salesforce security best practices, including
CRUD/FLS
compliance, sharing model enforcement and secure Apex patterns. The pay rate for this role ranges based on years of experience between $60-70/hr. Key Responsibilities
  •  Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable Salesforce Platform solutions with a core focus on Sales and Service Cloud objects, automation, metadata configuration, platform limits, and multi object data models.
  •  Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components to meet complex business requirements.
  •  Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled jobs following best practices and governor limit guidelines.
  •  Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications using
REST/SOAP
APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.
  •  Design and implement automated workflows using Flow Builder and Approval Processes.
  •  Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  •  Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and enforce coding standards within the development team.
  •  Perform data migrations and manage data integrity using tools such as Data Loader, Workbench.
  •  Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement timely resolutions.
  •  Stay current with Salesforce platform updates (3x annual releases) and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new features. Also, stay up to date with any new Security issues reported by Salesforce and investigate/a
  •  Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
  •  Manage and execute Salesforce deployments using GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable, automated, and version-controlled releases across sandbox and production environments.
  •  Apply strong Salesforce Platform Security practices, including field-level encryption, Shield platform encryption, CRUD/FLS enforcement, sharing model alignment, secure Apex patterns, and auditability across all development.

  •  5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  •  Strong proficiency in Apex programming, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  •  Experience with Salesforce integration patterns using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Platform Events.
  •  Proficiency in Salesforce Flow (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Auto-launched Flows, Scheduled Flows) and declarative automation tools.
  •  Strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, including
CRUD/FLS
enforcement, Sharing model and role hierarchy, Apex sharing and "with/without sharing" and Login & session security.
  •  Strong knowledge of configuring and managing Connected Apps for secure integrations, MFA and other Salesforce recommended Security settings.
  •  Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams — comfortable with sprint-based delivery, backlog grooming, story pointing, and iterative development cycles.
  •  Hands-on experience with GitHub CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments, including GitHub Actions workflows.
  •  Active Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce Certified Advanced Admin and Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) (minimum); Platform Developer II preferred.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to architect scalable solutions.
  •  Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  •  Salesforce Certified Advanced Admin and Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) certifications strongly preferred.
  •  Experience with Salesforce Shield (Field Audit Trail, Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring) or comparable enterprise security frameworks.
  •  Knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira.
  •  Experience API security, authentication, and identity, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, connected apps, and external credentials.
  •  Familiarity with data governance and compliance controls, including audit requirements, data retention rules, and secure handling of sensitive fields
  •  Exposure to multi-org Salesforce environments and cross-cloud implementations.
  •  Experience with Salesforce Agentforce — including building and configuring AI Agents, defining agent topics and actions, and integrating Agentforce into Service Cloud workflows to automate customer interactions and case resolution.
