Hecla is transforming current ad-hoc Excel-based reporting into a unified data platform serving our active mine sites. We need a Power BI Analytics Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, working closely with stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisionmaking. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the
Position:
Design and deliver productiongrade Power BI dashboards and reports across a wide range of business domainsConnect and model data from diverse sources, including SQL Server, ERP systems, industrial platforms, and cloud servicesBuild robust data models with clean DAX measures and optimized Power Query transformationsConduct exploratory analysis on large datasets to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities not yet being trackedPartner with stakeholders to translate domain knowledge into actionable analytics requirementsDocument analytics solutions and provide training to end usersStay current with the BI ecosystem and help shape platform evolutionSupport development of analytics capabilities across business units.
Qualifications:
3+ years of Power BI development experience with production deploymentsStrong DAX and Power Query (M) skills, with an understanding of performanceoptimized modelsSolid SQL fundamentals and experience querying relational databasesAnalytical mindset; ability to challenge requirements and ensure the right questions are being answeredBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong communication skills with nontechnical audiencesPreferred QualificationsMining, manufacturing, or process industry backgroundMicrosoft Power

certificationPython or R for statistical analysis or data preparationDemonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analytics development
Work RequirementsTravel:
10-20% of travel may be required, depending on business need.
Work Schedule:
Standard business hours with flexibility for different time zones.
