Business Intelligence Developer:
Analyze business intelligence needs and requirements and provides data storage, analytical, or reporting tools in response. Create efficient and actionable Business Intelligence solutions following brand guidelines for Power BI reports. Support data models and report backups and redundancy of reporting to maximize uptime. May provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Tests storage and reporting solutions for functionality and integrity; troubleshoots and resolves errors. Develops standard or custom reports, queries, or dashboards that access and consolidate information from a variety of data sources and provides ongoing support for data users. Utilizes data mining techniques and develops data models to assist in the visualization and interpretation of data. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. REQUIREMENTS
4 year bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field. 2+ years' experience in a data analytics role. 2+ years' experience with SQL Server stack (i.e.
SSMS, SSRS
) and DAX. 2+ years' experience with Experience with Data Modeling and ETL Tools. 2+ years' experience with Data Visualization or related (i.e. Power BI). 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel. 2+ years' experience with Microsoft 365 Office. Strong Oral and Written Communication, Computer Skills, and Technical Expertise. Advanced problem solving and analytical skills. An ability to assess performance using key metrics, quickly identify improvement opportunities, and develop and implement an appropriate action plan to address issues. Demonstrated customer and personal service skills using customer/employer needs assessment, evaluation of satisfaction and ensuring quality standards of service. Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction. Legal authority to work in the US. Jacksons does not currently sponsor employment.
Physical Environment:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
