Job Description

Overview A leading, technology-driven investment and trading organization is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support and expand its enterprise platform capabilities. Operating across global markets, the firm leverages advanced technology and a highly collaborative environment to solve complex problems and drive innovation. This role sits within a high-impact internal platform team responsible for maintaining and evolving critical enterprise applications. The team focuses on performance, scalability, security, and delivering a seamless user experience across the organization. Position Summary The Senior ServiceNow Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform across a wide range of modules and use cases. This individual will partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve processes, and extend platform functionality. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on development, takes ownership of platform performance, and thrives in an environment where continuous improvement and innovation are expected. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and platform enhancements within ServiceNow Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring reliable data flow and consistency Develop and optimize scripting solutions using JavaScript and ServiceNow backend technologies (business rules, script includes, GlideRecord, REST APIs) Support front-end development using modern ServiceNow experiences such as UI Builder, Workspaces, and employee-facing portals Contribute to the evolution and accuracy of the CMDB, including onboarding and managing data from multiple sources Maintain and enhance the service catalog, including request workflows and service offerings Assist with platform administration, including upgrades, security controls, access management, and overall instance health Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, user-focused solutions Document configurations, development work, and processes to support long-term maintainability Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience Strong experience across the ServiceNow platform, including custom app development, Flow Designer, and integrations Proficiency with backend development concepts such as business rules, script includes, and server-side scripting Experience with front-end ServiceNow tools including UI Builder, Workspaces, or similar frameworks Solid programming skills in JavaScript, along with general web technologies (HTML/CSS, REST APIs) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams Familiarity with ITIL concepts and enterprise service management practices Preferred Qualifications Experience building and maintaining CMDB frameworks and integrating external data sources Exposure to platform administration, including upgrades, security, and performance tuning Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as CSM, HAM, or similar enterprise capabilities Familiarity with emerging AI capabilities within enterprise platforms, including automation and intelligent workflows Why Join High-impact role supporting a business-critical platform Opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale problems Collaborative environment with strong technical peers Exposure to modern technologies and evolving platform capabilities Culture that values ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
