Can you lead a technical team, hold people accountable, and still walk into a discovery session and run it yourself? If so, we want to talk. DB Services and Mission In Motion are looking for a Salesforce Team Lead who leads from the front — managing delivery, owning client relationships, and bringing enough technical fluency to guide a team of developers without needing to be the one writing the code every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, manage, and hold the Salesforce team accountable to quality, timelines, and client outcomes Partner with Project Managers to oversee deliverables across a portfolio of active engagements Own client-facing discovery and requirements sessions — ask the right questions, document what matters, and translate business needs into executable Salesforce solutions Architect Salesforce solutions for prospective and existing clients, balancing configuration and customization appropriately Mentor and develop junior and mid-level Salesforce consultants and developers Lead innovation on the team: adopt new platform capabilities, set standards, enforce best practices Oversee sales initiatives with existing clients and consult them toward value-added outcomes Demo completed work during iteration meetings and communicate value clearly to non-technical stakeholders Maintain accurate time tracking and enforce delivery discipline across the team Acquire and maintain Salesforce certifications; stay current on platform updates and nonprofit ecosystem trends Requirements REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of Salesforce experience in a consulting or implementation environment Strong business analyst skills — requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, and documentation Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop a team Solid Salesforce functional knowledge across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Flow automation Enough technical fluency to direct developers, review solutions, and catch bad decisions before they ship Experience working with nonprofit organizations — understanding of fund accounting, grant management, donor relations, program tracking, or volunteer coordination Excellent communication skills, written and verbal — you can simplify complexity without losing accuracy Ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities without losing quality Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field Must reside in or plan to relocate to Indiana, New York, Texas, or Colorado prior to start BONUS POINTS
Active Salesforce certifications — Administrator, Business Analyst, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, or higher Hands-on experience with Salesforce NPSP, NPC, or Education Data Architecture (EDA) Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud Development experience in Apex or LWC — enough to roll up your sleeves when needed UX/UI sensibility with ability to provide input on solution design and user experience Familiarity with EOS methodology KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
