Nature of Work The BI Developer is responsible for creating effective technical solutions through the design, testing, and maintenance of various data initiatives and reports. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and Maintain reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Power BI. Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements. Generate innovative approaches to datasets with active users. Communicate findings clearly both verbally and in writing to a broad range of stakeholders. Test, monitor, and report on data health and data quality. Develop complex reporting and extract-based stored procedures and SQL queries. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all deliverables. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization. Challenges the status quo; encourages innovative ideas and new ways of doing things. Keep up to date with the tech industry and identify applicable software enhancements. Implement and maintain data warehousing strategies from multiple sources. Qualifications Proficiency in SQL and relational databases. Experience with reporting software - Power BI preferred. Experience in managing and connecting data from multiple data sources. Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner. Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively and proactively both in a team as well as independently. Familiarity of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered. Experience 1-3 years or more of related work experience preferred. Physical Demands and Working Environment Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. May require periods of overnight travel. Normal office environment.
