SIGN-ONBONUS
•The successfulcandidate will receivea $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 paid at time of hire and $500 paid at the end of 90 days of employment. Reporting to theAssistant Director for Enterprise Applications and Data Analytics, the Business Intelligence Developer bridges technicaldevelopment andbusiness insight by designing, building, and maintaining data solutions that empower decision-making across the institution. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Build and maintain dashboards andreports using modern BI tools to provideactionable insights for business stakeholders; Design, develop, and maintain robustSQL-based data pipelines and transformationsto support analytics and reporting needs; Design and implement ETL (Extract,Transform, and Load) processes and ensures dataintegrity across multiple systems; Collaborate with departments to understandbusiness workflows and translates requirements intotechnical solutions; Develop and support applications and interfaces thatintegrate with ERP and other enterprise systems; Analyze business processes and recommend improvements based on data insights; Communicate technical concepts clearly tonon-technical stakeholders and provide training/documentation as needed; Testand validate new features, upgrades, and dataprocesses; Perform other duties as assigned. Job Specifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Data Analytics, or a related fieldis required 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, orapplication development is required;experience in an academic environment is highly desired Strong proficiency in SQL, datamodeling and data transformationtechniques (CTEs, window functions, procedures functions, query optimization, etc.) to support analyticsworkflows Strong datastorytelling skills with experience building dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights tobusiness stakeholders Business acumen with the ability to integrate data across multiple systems and align solutions toorganizational decision-making needs Experience with relational and non-relational databases Experience withBI/dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Domo,SAP Crystal Reports) Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent cloud dataplatform preferred Familiarity with ERPsystems and integration methodologies Experience with version control (git,GitHub) Strong initiative and the abilityto be self-directed, resourceful and creative Excellent communication,organizational and interpersonal skills Abilityto manage multiple priorities and work independently Strong customerservice orientation, teamwork and collaborative mindset Eager to master new and emerging technologies, including AI and clouddata platforms Python experience preferred (eg pandas,duckdb, polars) Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and modern webtechnologies Experience trouble-shooting problems causedby programming bugs, data anomalies, and system errors Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to serving theneeds of a diverse community Sensitivity to confidentialinformation. Physical Job Demands Close visual acuity to analyze data and figures and view a computermonitor Ability to sustain substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers; or to dictate instructions to acomputer Ability tosit or stand at a desk or table for extended periods of time Light Physical Requirements, whichinclude exerting up to 20 poundsof force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of forceconstantly to move objects Working Conditions The worker is mainly in an office environment and isnot substantiallyexposed to adverse environmental conditions.
