Responsibilities Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs to meet evolving business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data consistency and accessibility. Design system architecture that incorporates Service-oriented architecture principles, ensuring modularity and scalability across platforms. Implement system security measures including cloud security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and system hardening practices to safeguard sensitive data. Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain high performance standards; participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Stay current with emerging technologies such as microservices architecture, Kubernetes orchestration, and DevOps practices to continuously improve system design and deployment efficiency.

Skills:

Extensive experience with Salesforce platform development including Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Salesforce APIs. Strong understanding of solution architecture principles for designing scalable enterprise systems integrating Salesforce. Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, C#, Python, SQL (including T-SQL and PL/SQL), Ruby on Rails, C++, Bash scripting, and Shell scripting for automation and system integration tasks. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), containerization (Kubernetes), load balancing techniques, DNS/DHCP management, and network security protocols. Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus. Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban for iterative development cycles. Expertise in web services including RESTful APIs and SOAP for seamless integrations; experience. Strong analytical skills in vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence, system hardening strategies for information security compliance.
