As a Senior Software Engineer at Ford Credit, you will be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, scalable way in the Force.com platform. As a core technology contributor, you will be responsible for designing and developing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support the organization's business objectives. What you'll do... Work in a fast-paced environment with business, technology, and designers to build new capabilities, platforms, features and improving existing capabilities. Responsible for customizing, developing, and supporting solutions on the force.com platform. Drive Salesforce enhancements and improvements. Build integrations between salesforce and other internal systems to automate business processes. Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and Java Script, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script and Flex Cards to extend Salesforce. Verify solutions by writing and executing automated test classes. Collaborate, mentor and guide other engineers within the team. Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively. Document and analyze processes, procedures, and ensure code is properly documented. Create and maintain a code repository to ensure a seamless deployment process for all team members. Stay current on the latest trends and Salesforce releases. Self-directed, can solve business problems from inception to implementation, can solve business problems without explicit direction. Provide leadership in the overall Salesforce architecture, application design, and system development Architect secure, scalable solutions on Salesforce that meet business requirements Create and deliver CRMs and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Visualforce, and related technologies Oversee programming development and testing of interfaces according to specifications Mentor team members on best practices and new technology needs You'll have...
