Responsibilities
  • Support the standup, configuration and implementation of ServiceNow's ITSM, OMT, TSM, TSOM, and Workforce Management Capability modules
  • Create and maintain Forms, Reports, s, Workflows, Groups and Roles
  • Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
  • Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc)
  • Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
  • Assist with design, creation and cataloging of business process flows
  • Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
  • Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs
  • Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into ServiceNow
  • Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance
  • Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts
  • Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Orchestrate and automate tasks
  • Design and build ServiceNow Applications and integrations to other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Provide strong development and project management, collaborating effectively in both new and existing development initiatives
  • Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practices policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support
  • Review and incorporate additional UI/UX requirements from internal and external teams into ServiceNow development
  • Utilize programming methodologies and languages, adhering to coding standards and documenting code as required
  • Support data migration activities as needed
  • Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified CMDB, maintaining data quality and integrity
  • Mentor junior developers to guide and coach them throughout each project.
Requirements
  • Requires a US Citizenship
  • Hold an active security certification that meets
DOD 8570 IAT
level II or higher (such as Security+ CE) within 14 days of hire
  • Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance
  • Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT for full-time on-site support
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8
  • 12 years of relevant experience or master's with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
  • At least 6 years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure
  • At least 4 years of ServiceNow development experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrades
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration, including the ability to present to management and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to rapid technological changes
  • Willing to assist and train junior developers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • ServiceNow CSM Pro Plus Suite Certified
  • Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodologies
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules like TSM, TNI, OMT, etc
  • Experience with JIRA, Git, and Confluence
  • Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certification
  • AWS cloud and ServiceNow certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines
  • Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and testing
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary development teams
  • Experience using SAFe as the agile development methodology
  • Experience transitioning from legacy applications to new systems
  • Experience applying test automation, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience with Kanban and other flow improvement practices
  • Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.#M
