Job Description
Join our team as a BI Developer / Semantic Layer Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing enterprise reporting solutions within a dynamic data ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the transition from legacy systems to modern analytics tools. Responsibilities Manage and enhance the enterprise semantic layer to ensure consistency and scalability across reporting platforms. Develop and support Power BI datasets, dashboards, and data models to meet business needs. Create advanced DAX calculations and reporting solutions to support key performance indicators. Maintain and improve existing Tableau dashboards while facilitating migration to Power BI. Interpret and support legacy SAS-based reporting solutions during modernization efforts. Optimize data queries and models within Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient reporting solutions. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and healthcare reporting standards. Skills Extensive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting roles. Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX development, data modeling, and performance tuning. Strong skills in Tableau for supporting and modernizing complex dashboards. Solid understanding of SQL and experience with large-scale data environments. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and cloud-based analytics. Knowledge of healthcare reporting requirements and security considerations. Preferred Skills Experience with large-scale BI modernization or platform migration projects. Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics and preparation. Understanding of enterprise data governance and metadata management. Experience in supporting self-service analytics and semantic model governance.
