Job Description

Relocation workable, and relocation charges will be reimbursed by client.
Job Description:
Mandatory Skills -
Salesforce Gov Cloud, and Senior Developer:
initially ~70% handson development / 30% architecture Project Scope (dig into details here): The company has been on commercial Salesforce for ~2.5 years, supported by an integration partner. They recently made the decision to launch Salesforce Gov ernment Cloud for the aerospace business.
There are two openings:
one Senior Developer (ideally someone progressing toward an architect path) and one MidLevel Developer.
Current state:
the implementation partner is migrating configurations from the commercial org into Gov Cloud. They are in UAT now, with GoLive next week through July. Future roadmap includes Sales Cloud onboarding in November. Gov Cloud operates on a different release cycle than commercial Salesforce . Not all features are likeforlike, and the team realized their existing commercial Salesforce resources cannot fully support both environments.
High-Level Individual Duties:
Own and manage the Salesforce Gov ernment Cloud environment under the technical manager s oversight, following existing enhancement and release processes. Partner with the current team that handles administration and release scheduling; these new developers will focus on keeping Gov Cloud in sync with commercial where possible. Handle ad hoc development specific to aerospace business needs.
Senior Developer:
initially ~70% handson development / 30% architecture; over time this will shift to ~70% architecture / 30% development. Both developers will work primarily in an isolated Gov Cloud environment, with occasional access to the main commercial org. Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
Senior Developer:
11+ years as a Salesforce Developer. Should have the aptitude to evolve into an Architect Strong Gov ernment Cloud experience is required for the Senior role. Should have prior experience with either Sales, Service, and/or Manufacturing as well.
MidLevel Developer:
7+ years of Salesforce development experience; preferred experience with Gov ernment Cloud but commercial experience in Sales, Service, or Manufacturing Cloud is acceptable. Looking for developers, not administrators or architects. Must be hands on.
