Tableau Developer

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Tableau Developer with a strong data science background for a top enterprise client. This individual will play a critical role in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through high-impact Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in SQL and Oracle databases with a strong analytical mindset and business acumen, enabling stakeholders to make confident, data-driven decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, influence reporting strategy, and deliver executive-level insights at scale. Day-to-Day

•  Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports
•  Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into visual insights
•  Perform data modeling and ETL to ensure high-quality, reliable data pipelines
•  Write and optimize SQL queries for extraction, transformation, and analysis
•  Work extensively within Oracle databases to support reporting and analytics needs
•  Apply predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and ML techniques to enhance insights
•  Ensure adherence to data governance, security standards, and best practices

•  5+ years of Tableau development and advanced data visualization experience
•  Strong SQL development skills, including complex query writing and optimization
•  Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (data integration & performance tuning)
•  Solid foundation in data science concepts (regression, clustering, forecasting)
•  Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data preparation workflows
•  Strong understanding of BI, data warehousing, and reporting best practices
•  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
•  Python or R for advanced analytics and modeling
•  Experience delivering C-suite or executive-level enterprise reporting
•  Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
•  Performance optimization experience with large and complex datasets
•  Strong communication skills and stakeholder-facing experience
