We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Senior ServiceNow Developer to work in Omaha, NE on Onsite basis.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow data models
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer (SME) to support high-impact federal programs by delivering scalable, secure, and mission-critical ServiceNow solutions.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who thrives in complex environments and can lead end-to-end platform development while collaborating closely with stakeholders.
You will play a key role in shaping platform architecture, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development & Architecture
Lead the design, development, and customization of ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, IRM, and CSM
Build and enhance workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, integrations, and custom applications
Serve as the technical SME, ensuring adherence to platform best practices, governance, and architecture standards
Implement secure coding practices aligned with federal frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP)
Customer & Project Delivery
Collaborate with federal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow capabilities, roadmap planning, and platform modernization
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, ensuring performance and reliability
Integration & Automation
Design and implement integrations using
REST, SOAP, MID
Server, IntegrationHub, and custom APIs
Drive automation initiatives to streamline enterprise workflows and reduce manual effort
Documentation & Compliance
Create and maintain technical documentation (design specs, test plans, deployment guides)
Ensure compliance with federal security, governance, and change management standards
Required Qualifications
Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Clearance
7-10+ years of ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules
Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow data models
Experience supporting federal programs or secure environments
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, IRM, CSM)
Experience with Scoped Applications and custom app development
Familiarity with DevOps tools, ATF, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP)
Prior consulting experience, preferably with a ServiceNow Elite Partner
