$80/hr on W2 We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer IV to lead and enhance the Unauthorized Change Detection program within a regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow, ITSM processes, change management, workflow automation, and governance, with a strong focus on compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Unauthorized Change Detection program, including strategy, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Design and manage ServiceNow workflows, integrations, dashboards, and event ingestion processes. Build and maintain automated reconciliation processes to match detected changes with approved change records. Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Application, Mainframe, and Change Management teams to investigate and remediate unauthorized changes. Support audit and regulatory requirements through documentation, evidence collection, and control validation. Develop operational metrics, executive reporting, and control dashboards. Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Required Skills:
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience. Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications and ITSM processes. Expertise in ServiceNow Change Management, Event Management/ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub. Experience with Change Detection tools such as Tripwire and automated reconciliation processes. Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow workflow automation. 7+ years of experience in ITSM, Change Enablement, Security Operations, Platform Operations, or SRE environments, preferably within financial services. Strong understanding of ITIL 4, governance, root-cause analysis, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with OCC, FFIEC, NIST, and regulatory change management frameworks. ServiceNow CIS certifications, ITIL 4 certifications, or
CISA/CISM/CRISC
credentials. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud event monitoring, and change quality improvement initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting audits and executive reporting.
