Long-term contract Position Overview The State of Arizona is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications supporting agency operations. The role focuses on delivering scalable solutions, integrating systems, and ensuring high-quality software development aligned with best practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications on Salesforce, MuleSoft, and SQL/Oracle platforms Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements Perform code analysis, reverse engineering, and enhancements to existing applications Participate in full SDLC including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment Ensure applications comply with agency standards, regulations, and security requirements Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications Support application environments and ensure system reliability and performance Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and integrated solutions Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead developer on Salesforce implementations Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 7+ years of development experience Strong SQL experience Experience in Salesforce development, configuration, and administration Experience working in Agile environments with source control and best practices Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required) Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Consultant (highly preferred) Salesforce Platform Developer II or Advanced Developer (plus) Experience with Copado (Salesforce DevOps) Experience with OmniStudio for guided user experiences Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for API design and integrations Technical Skills Salesforce (Development, Configuration, Administration) MuleSoft Integration SQL, Oracle, Relational Databases API Design and Integration DevOps and Version Control (Copado) Agile Methodology Primary Skills Salesforce, SQL, MuleSoft, API Integration, Copado, OmniStudio, Salesforce Certifications Flexible work from home options available.
