Job Description

Overview:
Stafford Gray is seeking a Salesforce Integration Engineer for a contract engagement supporting the State of Michigan. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems used across state agencies. This is a hybrid role based in Lansing, MI.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, ETL pipelines) Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flow, and Lightning components Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data sync issues, and system conflicts Document integration architecture, data flows, and technical specifications Support testing, UAT, and deployment activities across environments
Requirements Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Salesforce development experience Demonstrated experience building integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems Proficiency with
REST/SOAP
APIs, Apex, and Salesforce Flow Experience with middleware or integration platforms Active Salesforce certification Ability to work on-site in Lansing, MI on a hybrid schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with state or local government systems Salesforce Platform Developer II or Integration Architecture Designer certification Familiarity with Michigan state agency systems or legacy platforms
