About the RoleGovplace is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Operations team. We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce professional with deep expertise in Salesforce administration, platform development, automation, integrations, and Certinia (formerly FinancialForce).The successful candidate will serve as the technical owner of Govplace's Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring the platform supports the needs of Sales, Finance, Operations, Professional Services, and Executive Leadership. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and continuously improving Salesforce and Certinia to drive efficiency, automation, scalability, and business insight.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution. The ideal candidate understands how to translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions while maintaining security, performance, and governance standards.

This role supports the organization by:
- Administering and optimizing the Salesforce platform across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Services teams
- Managing and enhancing Certinia (FinancialForce) applications and business processes
- Designing and developing custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and integrations
- Automating business processes to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
- Supporting executive reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence initiatives
- Ensuring platform security, compliance, scalability, and data integrity
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align system capabilities with business objectives
- Providing technical leadership for Salesforce architecture and platform strategy. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
- 3+ years of Certinia (FinancialForce) administration and configuration experience
- Experience designing and supporting Salesforce integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, profiles, permission sets, and governance best practices
- Experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flows, Process Automation, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes
- Experience supporting Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments
- Strong SQL, data management, and reporting experience
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be willing to transition from an initially remote work arrangement to a hybrid schedule in the Cincinnati, OH area as business needs require. Great to Have
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certifications
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect Certification
- Certinia (FinancialForce) Certifications
- Experience supporting Professional Services Automation (PSA) environments
- Experience supporting CPQ, Revenue Recognition, Billing, or ERP-related systems
- Experience working in a federal contracting or government services environment
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third party platforms
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps processes Physical Requirements
- Ability to report to and work in an office environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 15-30 pounds occasionally.
