The Senior Salesforce Developer (QA/Regression focus) leads the strategic vision, design, and execution of quality assurance, test automation, and regression coverage across the enterprise platform. This role partners closely with engineering pod leaders, architects, and product stakeholders to ensure absolute release readiness. The incumbent will architect scalable AccelQ-based automation frameworks and provide authoritative go/no-go validation for high-stakes platform deployments supporting sports broadcast labor staffing, scheduling, payroll, and complex compliance workflows. This position is available for remote work.General Duties/Responsibilities:
Architect and own the enterprise QA strategy, test planning, and regression execution frameworks across complex, multi-stream platform releases. Design, scale, and optimize automated test suites using AccelQ; establish automation standards that continuously expand coverage and minimize manual testing bottlenecks. Lead release readiness reviews and provide definitive, data-driven go/no-go recommendations for production deployments. Partner directly with Lead Developers and Product Managers to dissect complex business requirements, defining robust acceptance criteria, edge cases, and technical test plans. Oversee the end-to-end defect lifecycle; establish best practices for root-cause analysis, tracking, and technical QA documentation within Confluence. Ensure rigorous test coverage for high-liability compliance areas, including California labor laws, complex payroll calculation engines, and enterprise client contractual requirements. Drive alignment across engineering pods, leading cross-pod QA coordination, actively participating in sprint ceremonies, and optimizing backlog grooming. Mentor internal team members and direct the technical delivery of offshore QA resources, steering the evolution of a world-class, unified global QA practice.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of QA, test engineering, or software development experience, with at least 3+ years deeply embedded within a complex Salesforce ecosystem Proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining enterprise-level test automation frameworks; deep hands-on expertise with AccelQ or similar platform experience preferred Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, advanced Flows, Apex-driven logic, and asynchronous processing for effective test design Hands-on experience with SDLC processes, defect tracking, and release management workflows Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate intricate technical risks to both developer and executive stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills for test documentation Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent) (Preferred) Experience in payroll, labor compliance, or financial systems testing (Preferred) Familiarity with sports media, broadcast production, or live events platforms (Preferred) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Gearset-based deployment workflows We believe in supporting our team members with a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance their well-being and provide financial security.
