- GovCIO is currently hiring fora
- Senior ServiceNow Developer
- to support the design, development, and maintenance of mission-enabling applications for the U.S. Coast Guard. This is a remote position.
- Responsibilities
- As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will support the rapid delivery of functional applications and automated workflows in accordance with the Software Lifecycle Management Plan (SLMP).
Core responsibilities include:
+ Develop and configure applications within the ServiceNow platform, utilizing App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder to meet mission objectives with minimal manual coding. + Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate operational needs into scalable, functional scoped applications and ServiceNow modules. + Execute the full SDLC utilizing diverse methodologies, including Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall, ensuring ServiceNow releases are delivered on schedule. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform integration, MID Server configuration, deployment, and functional defects. + Minimize technical debt by applying ServiceNow best practices and platform governance to ensure "out-of-the-box" alignment. + Maintain cybersecurity compliance by developing ServiceNow applications that conform to USCG system security requirements and federal data protection standards. + Produce and maintain technical documentation, including Software Product Documentation, Update Set logs, and updates to the Software Lifecycle Management Plan. + Support application lifecycle activities, including the migration of legacy workflows into ServiceNow and the modernization of existing platform modules. + Provide technical insights regarding ServiceNow platform capabilities, governance models, and digital transformation strategies.- Qualifications
- High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)
- Required Skills & Experience
- + Demonstrated experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
