Job Description
Job Description A client is seeking a Tableau Developer to join their team. This role is responsible for designing, building, and enhancing Tableau dashboards and reports aligned to business and leadership needs. The resource will convert and migrate Excel‑based spreadsheets into optimized Tableau dashboards, improving data structure, performance, and usability where possible, while leveraging SQL for data extraction, validation, and optimization to ensure accurate and reliable reporting. They will partner closely with leadership to understand reporting requests and translate feedback into meaningful analytics and visualizations, while maintaining and enhancing a core set of dashboards used by senior stakeholders. The role will also support the Chief of Staff office with ad‑hoc analytics, including executive‑level dashboards, leadership reporting views, and data‑driven PowerPoint materials. Acting as the primary analytical point of contact, this individual will proactively identify reporting gaps and opportunities for improvement and ensure consistency and clarity across Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and all leadership‑facing materials. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and optimization
- Experience converting Excel spreadsheets into Tableau dashboards
- Ability to take requirements and feedback from leadership and translate them into clear reporting and visuals
- Comfortable owning reporting end‑to‑end as a lead analyst
- Self‑sufficient, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience working with Power BI on top of SQL data sources
- Strong communication skills and comfort supporting executive‑level reporting
- Remote, with preference for availability aligned to CST
