Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing BI solutions that support business decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BI solutions using technologies such as BusinessObjects, Cognos, and DAX.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable insights.
- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support organizational analytics needs.
- Work with APIs, including Maps API, to integrate data sources and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Optimize data pipelines and workflows using Informatica to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Design comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that outline project objectives and deliverables.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Ensure data security and compliance across all BI processes and solutions.
- Provide ongoing technical support and training to business users.
- Stay updated on emerging BI technologies and recommend their integration into existing systems.
