PowerBI Analyst

Job Summary The Power BI Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights by designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports. This role supports Agile tool adoption and data standardization by collaborating with stakeholders, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring effective integration and usage of tools such as Power BI and Jira-based platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights for business decision-making. Develop, test, and support data models and data warehouse solutions. Work with databases such as SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake to extract and analyze data. Collaborate with stakeholders, Agile teams, and leadership to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Support administration and usage of Agile tools including Jira and Jira Align. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting tools and Agile platforms. Ensure data consistency, standardization, and adherence to defined taxonomy and governance practices. Guide and mentor team members on best practices for Power BI usage and adoption. Monitor tool usage and recommend improvements to enhance performance and efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners. Communicate insights, recommendations, and technical concepts effectively to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with Power BI for building and publishing reports and dashboards. Strong experience in data analysis and data modeling. Experience working with SQL and databases such as Oracle and Snowflake. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira; familiarity with Jira Align is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support end users. Strong understanding of data governance, reporting standards, and best practices. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Jira Align or similar Agile planning tools. Experience working in Agile environments supporting enterprise-level teams. Experience mentoring or guiding teams in tool adoption and best practices. Strong interest in learning new tools and technologies.
