6-month contract-to-hire

Clearance:

Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (, resided in the US for the past 5 years, eligible to pass drug screening/background check) Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support and enhance an existing Java-based enterprise application. This role involves full lifecycle development, including maintenance, new development, and production support. Responsibilities Maintain and enhance Java/Eclipse/WebSphere applications Perform design, development, testing, and implementation Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries Write and support C/C++ code Create and maintain UNIX/Linux shell scripts and Perl scripts Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Collaborate with team members on system design and development Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices and quality standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field 10+ years of software development experience Strong experience with: Java, Eclipse, WebSphere Oracle (PL/SQL, SQL tuning) C/C++ UNIX/Linux (shell scripting) Perl Windows environments Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design Experience in production support and troubleshooting Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or on a team Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
