Job DescriptionThe Salesforce CPQ Developer is a key role in our growing Salesforce practice. They have an excellent technical understanding of both Salesforce languages and frameworks and key technical aspects of Salesforce integrations. They can take business requirements and can, working with a team or alone, deliver full solutions to the business problems those requirements address. They will have great experience configuring complex pricing models, building quote workflows, and integrating CPQ systems with CRM and backend systems. The developer will lead technical requirements sessions, architect and document high quality technical solutions, and build and test those solutions, and oversee the release of those solutions into production.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into well architected CPQ solutions that best leverage the platformLead technical design sessions and architecting/documenting technical solutions for quote configuration, pricing rules, and product bundling aligned with the client's business objectivesManage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce CPQ implementationDesign and configure complex quote templates, pricing models, and product rulesDevelop custom solutions and interfaces for quote management workflows and quote-to-cash processesManage technical scope and client expectationsProvide hands-on expert level assistance to developers for technical issues related to CPQ configuration and customizationDesign and manage the execution of test plans and ensuring a quality solution is deliveredDemonstrate technical thought leadership in CPQ best practices and methodologiesConduct code reviews for on-going projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and design patterns are being used which are appropriate for the projectCoach and mentor junior developers and team members
QualificationsRequired Skills:
Salesforce CPQ Specialist CertificationSalesforce CPQ platform experience with quote configuration, pricing rules, and product bundlingProven ability to design and optimize quote-to-cash business processes and integrate CPQ systems across disparate platforms2+ Years of Salesforce CPQ implementation experience4+ Years of relevant technical development experienceExtensive Apex and Visualforce development experience for CPQ customizationsStrong background in designing and developing enterprise-level systems or complete software product lifecycle exposureSolid knowledge of object-oriented programming, database design, and the SDLCExperience with integration technologies including
REST/SOAP
web services, middleware platforms, and ETL toolsProficiency integrating CPQ with Salesforce
CRM, ERP
systems, and backend platformsClient-ready written and oral communication skills
