POSITION PURPOSE
Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics, will partner with business leadership to understand business direction and translate that into information technology needs. This role will create and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, data models and BI platforms that are interactive and user friendly.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
ExperienceRequired:
5+ years experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 3 years in complex technology environments.5+ years' experience using MS SQL, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.3+ years in Power BI (Power Query, Data Modeling, Data Visualization, Performance Tuning)3+ years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution industries.
Skills:
SQL Server development and administration (TSQL, Tables, Views, Procedures, functions, etc.)ETL processing using SSIS packages with SQL agentsPower BI report development and administrationSSAS cube developmentSSRS report development.

EducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or comparable professional experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Partner with business stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements by defining, prioritizing and organizing initiatives.

Develop complex SQL queries to capture metrics in sales, finance, marketing, manufacturing, and other business functions.

Create Power BI dashboards and data models that join disparate datasets across business functions and platforms such as JDE and Oracle.

Support existing Enterprise Data Warehouse nightly ETL processing.

Share rotating on call support responsibilities with team.

Enhance, improve, and debug existing reports as needed.

Create, update, and modify SSAS cubes when needed.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements:
Typically, less than 5% travel is required.
