Responsibilities:
RESTful Service Development. Design and build enterprise-grade OData services (V2/V4) using the
ABAP RAP
framework to enable seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and modern UI applications (Fiori/UI5). Business Object (BO) Modeling. Develop robust BOs using Behavior Definitions (BDEF) and Behavior Implementations (BIMP) supporting: Managed & unmanaged scenarios. CRUD operations, validations, determinations, and actions. Advanced Data Modeling (CDS). Architect scalable data models using
ABAP CDS
Views with: UI annotations (Fiori Elements). Search & analytical capabilities. Performance optimization. Clean Core & Cloud Extensibility. Implement ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) principles: Side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP. Developer extensibility with upgrade-safe architecture. Event-Based Processing & Integration.
Enable asynchronous workflows using:
RAP Business Events. Event Mesh / APIs for hybrid SAP Non-SAP integration.
