Job Description

Job Description As a Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable solutions on our Salesforce platform — spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Lightning components — that directly support our revenue operations and go-to-market teams. You'll partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Product stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures, and serve as a hands-on technical leader within the engineering team.
  • Architect and develop complex Salesforce solutions including custom objects, Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages
  • Lead integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms (e.
g., Gong, Marketo, NetSuite, Outreach, DocuSign) using
REST/SOAP
APIs, platform events, and middleware tools
  • Own the design and implementation of automation workflows using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Apex to reduce manual work for Sales and CS teams
  • Partner with RevOps and Sales leadership to scope and deliver CRM enhancements tied to pipeline management, territory design, and variable compensation tracking
  • Conduct code reviews, establish development best practices, and mentor junior developers on Salesforce architecture and coding standards
  • Manage sandbox environments, deployment pipelines (Copado, Gearset, or SFDX), and release processes following CI/CD principles
  • Maintain data integrity through deduplication rules, validation logic, and governance frameworks
  • Translate ambiguous business requirements into technical specs and communicate trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases (3x/year) and proactively assess impact on existing customizations and org health
  • Support the Deal Desk team on quote creation, updates, and approvals within CPQ business systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the quote-to-cash process
  • Serve as a primary owner of DealHub configuration and ongoing maintenance, including SKU creation, product configuration, pricing rules, and bundle setup, following a planned migration from Salesforce CPQ to DealHub
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing multiple concurrent projects, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, and maintaining high-quality output under evolving business demands We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.

  • Strong track record of designing scalable, well-documented solutions in a complex, multi-cloud Salesforce org
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, version control (Git), and CI/CD deployment tooling (Copado, Gearset, or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems via
REST/SOAP
APIs and event-driven architectures
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II or Application Architect strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting Sales Cloud objects including Opportunities, CPQ, Accounts, and custom pipeline reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable presenting architecture decisions to both technical and business audiences
  • Understanding of hold to cash process in CPQ and exposure to a Salesforce environment with CPQ
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) or Revenue Cloud
  • Prior experience with DealHub (or comparable CPQ/quoting platforms) is preferred but not required; hands-on familiarity with CPQ concepts such as product configuration, pricing, bundling, and SKU management is strongly valued

  • Experience with data engineering tools or pipelines (e.
g., Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt) that feed into Salesforce
