Duration:
05 months on W2 contract Seeking an experienced AI Solutions Product Owner to lead AI/ML initiatives supporting Substation Operations, Asset Management, and utility business functions. The role will bridge Operations, IT, Data, Analytics, Vendors, and Leadership teams to deliver AI use cases from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead AI use case intake, prioritization, and delivery Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Coordinate with IT, Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Operations teams Support data validation, reporting, testing, pilots, and rollout activities Ensure AI solutions are practical, explainable, and business-focused Track project risks, dependencies, adoption metrics, and business outcomes
Required Skills:
Experience in Operations, Asset Management, Maintenance, or Utility processes Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills Experience with SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, APM, PI, or similar platforms Understanding of AI/ML, predictive analytics, automation, and data governance Experience leading pilots, POCs, and enterprise technology initiatives
Preferred:
Utility/Substation Operations experience Knowledge of asset health, inspections, alarms, maintenance optimization Experience with vendor coordination and executive reporting
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $90.00 - $95.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate].
