Stock options available after 1 year of service About Us We are a forward-thinking, multi-state cannabis holding company operating at the cutting edge of both retail and manufacturing. With a high-velocity, direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce delivery and retail platform in California, and a premier cultivation, manufacturing, and wholesale operation in New York, we are uniquely positioned to dominate the bi-coastal cannabis market. As the landscape evolves toward federal normalization, our mission is to fuse advanced technology with disruptive retail strategies to drive exponential growth. Position Overview We are seeking a visionary, growth-obsessed Chief Technology & E-commerce Officer (CTEO) to lead our digital infrastructure and revenue-generating e-commerce initiatives. This executive-level role demands a rare hybrid leader: a technical heavyweight who also possesses a deep, sophisticated understanding of cutting-edge retail e-commerce, digital marketing psychology, and social media branding. Unlike traditional tech roles, you will directly solve the gap in our digital retail sophistication. You will own the technology stack that drives our California e-commerce retail engine—focusing ruthlessly on consumer demographic profiling, Gen Z acquisition tactics, and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) optimization. Simultaneously, you will weaponize digital media and modern B2B/B2C social branding strategies to scale our wholesale and manufacturing footprint in New York.
Key Responsibilities E-commerce & Growth Architecture:
Drive the technical roadmaps for our CA retail e-commerce platform, optimizing the user journey, checkout funnels, and retention mechanics to maximize LTV and reduce churn.
Advanced Demographics & Analytics:
Implement sophisticated data-profiling tools and predictive AI analytics to deeply understand consumer behavior, specifically tailoring acquisition strategies toward Gen Z and millennial cohorts.
Bi-Coastal Strategy Execution:
Scale our outbound communication infrastructures (SMS, email marketing automation, push notifications) in CA, while deploying cutting-edge social media branding and digital B2B marketing initiatives to elevate our NY manufacturing presence.
Omnichannel Integration:
Bridge the gap between operations, logistics, marketing, and procurement using data-driven systems that streamline inventory flow from NY manufacturing to CA retail.
Team Leadership & Agility:
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing, agile team of developers, data analysts, and growth engineers while comfortably pivoting between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
Future-Proofing & Compliance:
Ensure all digital platforms are robust, hyper-secure, and agile enough to adapt to evolving state regulations and eventual federal legalization.
Desired Qualifications Proven Executive Leadership:
7+ years in a senior technology and/or digital growth leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of E-commerce, Chief Growth Officer) within a high-volume D2C retail, e-commerce, or hyper-growth consumer brand. Cannabis industry experience is a major plus, but a proven track record in modern retail tech is non-negotiable.
E-commerce Sophistication:
Deep, tactical familiarity with modern e-commerce tech stacks, customer data platforms (CDPs), growth hacking tools, and attribution modeling.
Branding & Social Fluency:
A strong grasp of modern social media ecosystems, viral loop marketing, and digital branding strategies necessary to capture market share in competitive landscapes like New York.
Data & AI Driven:
Demonstrated success utilizing machine learning and predictive analytics for consumer profiling, hyper-personalized marketing, and operational forecasting.
Bi-Coastal Agility:
Ability to effectively manage digital strategies across different market structures (the mature, highly competitive CA retail delivery space and the emerging NY wholesale/manufacturing ecosystem).
Educational Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, E-commerce, Marketing Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent elite-level industry experience). Why Join Us?
Massive Ownership:
Step into a role with a direct, measurable impact on the company's P&L and strategic direction.
Bi-Coastal Footprint:
Shape the future of cannabis retail and wholesale across the two most influential economies in the United States.
Competitive Executive Compensation:
Lucrative base salary, aggressive performance bonuses, and meaningful equity ownership in a holding company built for scale.
Dynamic Culture:
Work alongside an agile, execution-oriented executive team dedicated to industry disruption. Application Process Interested candidates or referrals are encouraged to submit their resume, a brief cover letter highlighting your experience with modern e-commerce growth strategies, and any relevant case studies to .
