Director, Strategy — Edge AI and Advance Compute Hardware Description

Evaluate the core-to-edge architecture strategy:
data center training + edge inference and required software components to bring solutions to life. Develop growth strategies and partnerships required to gain share in the video conferencing market. Work with software and solutions strategy, product, and GTM teams to develop vertical solutions that drive customer value proposition leveraging HP's full portfolio of devices, software and services. Build and execute GTM plans across enterprise and channel partners; own launch strategy and readiness (pricing, packaging, enablement, content). Develop ODMs/OEMs and ecosystem partnerships (accelerator vendors, firmware/OS stacks, payment ISVs, device management platforms) to drive scale and velocity. Lead key strategic initiatives for the HP leadership team and Board of Directors in and adjacent to AI hardware, AI platforms, peripherals, video conferencing, and industrial solutions in key verticals Own business cases, pricing & packaging choices, product lifecycle strategy, and margin management. Support and pressure test forecasting and portfolio optimization. Define and track KPIs such as, revenue, GM%, share, pipeline, win rates, attach, partner adoption, MTBF/MTTR, deployment velocity, certification lead times, etc. Lead and mentor a high-performing cross-functional team; influence senior leaders with crisp, data-driven storytelling. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.Experience:
10-12 years of total experience in the high-tech industry, product management, corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or a related field, preferably within a Fortune 500 environment.Strategic Mindset:
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute scalable GTM strategies that drive revenue growth and customer retention. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, strategy frameworks, and project management tools. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Expertise in market analysis, customer segmentation, and channel strategy development. Strong communication and presentation abilities, with expertise in influencing and inspiring stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across teams. The pay range for this role is $166,050 to $265,700 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
