Bachelor s degree We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to lead the development and implementation of enterprise data governance strategies and frameworks. This role supports data governance initiatives from project planning through proof-of-concept, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Data Governance Strategy & Framework
  • Partner with leadership, data owners, and stakeholders to align and support data governance initiatives
  • Develop enterprise data governance strategy, framework, and project-specific governance plans
  • Establish policies, standards, and procedures for managing data across the organization Data Quality & Compliance
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
  • Ensure alignment with data security laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Support development of data quality metrics and reporting mechanisms Stakeholder Engagement & Training
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business owners, and external stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver training materials on data governance best practices
  • Provide guidance on governance processes and adoption Documentation & Process Management
  • Create detailed documentation of governance processes, procedures, and standards
  • Support implementation of governance tools and frameworks
  • Contribute to project planning and governance-related deliverables Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance
  • Experience conducting project readiness assessments for data systems in public sector, law enforcement, or similar environments
  • Experience developing procurement strategies for technology modernization initiatives involving data systems
  • Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks for large organizations
  • Strong understanding of data policies, standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor s degree
