The SME will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital engineering strategy, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and mentoring teams to achieve operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary expert and advisor on digital engineering practices, tools, and methodologies. Develop and implement strategies to integrate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and advanced simulation tools into engineering workflows. Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of digital engineering platforms and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital engineering initiatives with organizational goals. Provide mentorship and training to engineering teams to enhance their digital engineering proficiency. Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive. Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for digital engineering.

Qualifications:

US citizenship and a secret level security clearance is required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; PhD preferred. 10+ years of experience in digital engineering, systems engineering, or related discipline. Deep expertise in MBSE tools and frameworks (e.g., Cameo, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink). Strong understanding of digital twin technology, data integration, and cloud-based solutions. Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP) or related fields. Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in digital engineering environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of digital engineering within our organization.
