Combining strategic leadership with hands-on build responsibility, this role will identify the technology capabilities needed by our agents across all seven channels, our credit union partners, their members, and carrier partners — and lead efforts to deliver scalable, effective solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and engagement. Lead and expand FSP's Business Solutions organization while coordinating internal teams, external developers, and strategic partners to deliver a unified digital product, integration, and innovation roadmap. Manage FSP's carrier technology relationships as a senior strategic and technical peer, driving integration and collaboration opportunities with carrier platforms while advancing FSP's independent digital product and technology capabilities alongside them. Own and execute FSP's AI adoption strategy, evaluating and deploying AI solutions that improve agent productivity, streamline operations, and enhance member engagement across all seven channels. This is a hands-on leadership role at a company where technology, digital innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities are central to our competitive strategy and future growth. Key Responsibilities Define and own FSP's digital product roadmap across all distribution channels, tied directly to revenue and growth objectives Lead FSP's experience design practice, translating real-world agent, member, and partner workflows into intuitive digital experiences through user research, workflow mapping, interaction design, detailed product specifications, and delivery oversight. Build, lead, and grow FSP's Business Solutions organization, creating a high-performing team focused on scalable delivery, innovation, and operational excellence. Own and execute FSP's AI adoption strategy, evaluating, piloting, and deploying AI solutions that improve field sales effectiveness, enhance member engagement, increase agent productivity, and deliver measurable commercial value. Manage carrier technology relationships as a senior strategic and technical peer, leading integration planning sessions, presenting clear functional and technical specifications, evaluating deliverables against requirements, and securing the access and collaboration needed to support FSP's digital product roadmap. Assess and document the API and integration architecture of FSP's core insurance sales platform within 60 days of joining, establishing the technical foundation for FSP's independent build agenda Establish and maintain a lightweight, disciplined product development process: requirements, build, QA, release, and continuous improvement cycle Represent FSP's technology strategy in credit union partner conversations, board-level briefings, and executive leadership discussions What We Are Looking For 8-10 years of technology experience with at least 3 years in a senior role involving direct management of external platform or vendor technology relationships Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and distribution operations, including experience working within or alongside field sales organizations and a demonstrated ability to design technology solutions that enhance customer and member interactions at critical points of engagement. Insurance, financial services, or fintech background: familiar with carrier or platform dynamics, payment processing, and the compliance context of regulated industry technology Demonstrable hands-on experience design capability — you have personally observed users in real work settings, mapped their actual workflows, and written specifications that developers built from without interpretation. Daily fluency with AI-assisted development and product tools — including AI coding assistants, AI-powered prototyping, and LLM-based workflow tools — as a personal productivity practice and a strategic lens for evaluating what FSP should build or adopt. Technical depth sufficient to assess API architecture, write integration requirements, evaluate developer work, and make credible build-vs-buy-vs-request decisions independently Communication and presence to represent FSP credibly in partner technical sessions, credit union executive conversations, and board-level briefings. Nice to Have Experience with insurance distribution platforms, credit union technology, or supplemental benefits products Familiarity with React, Power BI, Aptean CRM, or comparable analytics and CRM platforms in an operational context Prior experience as the senior-most technology voice in a company of $50M-$150M scale Why Join FSP? Join a company where technology, digital innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities are central to the future of the business. This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide strategy, build impactful solutions, and lead meaningful transformation across products, operations, and customer engagement.
