Job Description

I own two retail locations in North Miami Beach (a smoke shop and a convenience store) and I am currently in the process of a business transition. I need a sharp, organized, and tech-savvy professional to come in for a 30-60 day "clean-up" project . You will be responsible for moving our licensing/permitting across the finish line, formalizing our in-house procedures, and migrating our finances to QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
Licensing & Permits:
Audit current filings and manage the final transfer of all city, county, and state permits for both locations.
Financial Setup:
Set up QuickBooks Online, integrate it with our POS (Clover/Thrive), and establish a clean chart of accounts. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Review current "sloppy" in-house workflows and create clear, written guides for staff to follow.
Executive Support:
Assist with personal administrative tasks and local errands to keep ownership focused on growth.
Qualifications:
QuickBooks Expert:
You must know how to set up a retail business from scratch in QB.
Organized & Direct:
You don't need hand-holding. You see a mess and you fix it.
Local Knowledge:
Familiarity with Miami-Dade/North Miami Beach licensing is a major plus.
Discretion:
You will be handling sensitive business and personal information.
Competitive :
Competitive hourly rate plus bonus at end
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
