Chicago, IL Role Purpose:
The Director, Transformation is responsible for driving the people side of transformation initiatives across the global Sales and Commercial Excellence organization. This role ensures successful adoption of strategic programs such as sales transformation, CRM implementations, go-to-market redesigns, training, and digital enablement. The role partners closely with Commercial Excellence teams, GTM organization, and HR to embed sustainable behavioral and cultural change that delivers measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities Change Strategy & Planning Define and implement comprehensive change management strategies aligned with global sales and commercial transformation initiatives Conduct change impact assessments across regions, functions, and customer segments Develop structured change roadmaps, stakeholder engagement plans, and adoption frameworks Stakeholder Management & Leadership Alignment Partner with senior executives (e.g., Regional Sales Heads, Commercial Leaders) to align on transformation objectives Identify and manage key stakeholders, sponsors, and change champions across markets Facilitate leadership alignment workshops and communication cascades Communication & Engagement Design and execute multi-channel communication strategies tailored to diverse global audiences Translate complex transformation programs into clear, compelling narratives for sales teams Ensure consistent messaging across geographies and organizational levels Training & Capability Building Collaborate with Sales Enablement teams to design and deploy training programs supporting new tools, processes, and behaviors Drive capability building in areas such as consultative selling, pricing discipline, and digital adoption Ensure training effectiveness through measurable adoption and performance metrics Adoption & Reinforcement Establish frameworks to track adoption, usage, and behavioral change (e.g., CRM utilization, pipeline quality, pricing adherence) Define KPIs and success metrics aligned with business objectives Implement reinforcement mechanisms (incentives, governance, coaching) to sustain change Transformation Program Support Act as a key member of transformation program teams (e.g., CRM rollout, sales operating model redesign) Integrate change management workstreams into overall program governance and timelines Identify risks and resistance points and proactively develop mitigation strategies Culture and Mindset Shift Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and customer-centricity within sales organizations Support mindset shifts toward standardized processes and global best practices Champion continuous improvement and agile ways of working Experience Required 8-12+ years of experience in Change Management, Sales Transformation, or Commercial Excellence Proven experience in large-scale, global change initiatives within multinational organizations Strong understanding of sales processes, commercial operations, and go-to-market models Experience with CRM transformations (e.g. Salesforce) highly preferred Excited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed? 109257BR Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. The pay range for this position is expected to be between: $160,800.00
