Director, Advanced Site Connectivity Solutions Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as Director, Advanced Site Connectivity Solutions . This role is responsible for defining, developing, and scaling advanced connectivity and digital infrastructure solutions that enable intelligent, connected, and data-driven operations across customer sites. The Director will lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and governance of connected site ecosystems that integrate networking technologies, edge computing, telemetry systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Working at the intersection of connectivity, industrial technology, digital platforms, and customer operations, this leader will drive innovative solutions that support complex environments such as construction sites, mining operations, energy facilities, and other remote or distributed industrial locations. Key Responsibilities Connectivity Strategy & Digital Site Solutions Develop and execute the vision and roadmap for advanced site connectivity solutions across customer environments. Lead the adoption of scalable, secure, and high-performance connectivity technologies, including private LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, satellite communications, and edge computing. Partner with business, product, engineering, and technology teams to align connectivity capabilities with customer requirements and enterprise objectives. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage. Solution Architecture & Platform Integration Lead end-to-end design and solutioning of connected site ecosystems, integrating devices, networks, edge platforms, cloud services, and enterprise applications. Establish standards, reference architectures, and best practices that promote scalability, interoperability, and reuse. Collaborate with enterprise and solution architecture teams to ensure seamless integration across technology environments. Drive architecture decisions that support operational efficiency, reliability, and long-term business value. Portfolio Management & Program Delivery Own and govern a portfolio of advanced connectivity and digital infrastructure initiatives. Define prioritization frameworks, resource planning, investment strategies, and delivery roadmaps. Oversee multiple concurrent programs, ensuring delivery excellence, quality, budget adherence, and business outcomes. Measure success through adoption, reliability, operational performance, cost optimization, and customer value metrics. Customer-Focused Solution Leadership Develop a deep understanding of customer operational environments and connectivity challenges. Translate business and operational requirements into integrated technology solutions. Support customer engagements, solution presentations, and go-to-market initiatives for advanced connectivity offerings. Drive customized solutions for complex and remote industrial environments. Operating Model & Deployment Excellence Establish scalable delivery and deployment models for multi-site, multi-technology implementations. Define governance structures, escalation processes, operating rhythms, and performance management practices. Standardize deployment methodologies, implementation frameworks, and lifecycle management processes. Coordinate execution across global, regional, and local delivery organizations. Technology & Engineering Leadership Partner with engineering and technology teams to establish standards for connectivity, reliability, performance, and security. Ensure best practices for systems integration, connectivity management, and operational visibility. Incorporate cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements into all connected infrastructure solutions. Oversee platforms and tools that provide monitoring, analytics, and performance insights across connected environments. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Champion agile and hybrid delivery methodologies to accelerate deployment and business value realization. Build organizational capabilities that support rapid implementation, scalability, and continuous innovation. Develop strategic partnerships and technology ecosystems that enhance connectivity solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on operational performance metrics and customer feedback. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Significant experience leading connectivity, infrastructure, digital platform, or Industrial IoT initiatives within complex enterprise environments. Deep knowledge of connectivity technologies, including private LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, satellite communications, edge computing, and industrial networking. Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-site deployments across geographically distributed environments. Strong background in solution architecture, systems integration, and digital infrastructure strategy. Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams, including managers, architects, engineers, and program leaders. Experience managing large portfolios, governance frameworks, and cross-functional technology programs. Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills. Experience operating in agile, hybrid, or large-scale enterprise delivery environments. Preferred Qualifications MBA, MS, or other advanced degree. Experience within construction, mining, heavy equipment, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations. Expertise in Industrial IoT (IIoT), edge computing, telemetry, and connected site architecture. Experience deploying solutions in remote, challenging, or highly distributed environments. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and secure connected infrastructure practices. Program management, agile, or architecture certifications. Experience managing strategic technology partners, telecommunications providers, and connectivity ecosystems. Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be a strategic technology leader with a strong blend of connectivity expertise, Industrial IoT knowledge, solution architecture experience, and enterprise delivery leadership. They will have a proven track record of building and scaling connected site solutions that leverage private wireless networks, edge computing, telemetry systems, and digital platforms to improve operational performance across complex industrial environments.
