Job Description

at Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Essential Functions Subject to management approval, serves as the ERP Integrations Lead for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) implementing policy and leading and supporting work efforts across ERP foundational tool sets related to the integration, migration, data movement, and source/target connections of systems impacted by the ERP Program, including conferring with functional experts in multiple areas to identify gaps and make recommendations for system interfaces. Partners and collaborates with the ERP Deputy Director of Technology, other ERP technical staff, functional staff, and vendor staff to coordinate and control the implementation and steady state support of the ERP Program, including recommending program enhancements that relate to ERP Program interactions with other systems and within the ERP modules. Serves as a project manager on highly complex projects while independently planning, developing, and implementing techniques for gathering and interpreting data. Serves as spokesperson on issues associated with system integrations impacted by the ERP Program, including representing the ERP Program to internal and external entities, such as DoIT Leadership, the Governor's Office, the legislative and the Governor's Office of Management and Budget. Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to (4) four years of college with coursework in management information systems, data processing, computer science, telecommunication or directly related information technology field. Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or private business Information Technology organization.
