Job Description

Job Summary A locally owned, family-oriented IT software company in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Chief Technology Officer Software D to lead technology strategy, software development, and IT innovation in a full-time, on-site executive leadership role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technology leader who wants to make a visible impact, guide product direction, and partner closely with executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong software development, IT infrastructure, and leadership experience, along with the ability to build high-performing teams and align technology initiatives with business goals. This role offers a collaborative environment, supportive leadership, competitive compensation, bonus potential, healthcare options, PTO, and holiday pay. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company's technology strategy to support growth, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of software products and IT systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and support technology team members while promoting collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, platforms, and processes to strengthen the company's competitive position.
  • Ensure IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and security practices are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize technology initiatives, manage resources, and support strategic decision-making. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $90,000 to $150,000 per year.
